Introduction
Following the invasion of Prontera by Junior Bijou (Himelmez’s immediate subordinate), the town is now a complete disaster (now coined “Invaded Prontera”), with hordes of undead ruling the invaded city. The Sky Fortress seems to be source of the walking dead.
While Bijou is heading underground to Prontera in pursuit of the Ymir’s Heart, it is up to you to enter the Sky Fortress and save Prontera.
At the top of the Fortress sits Bijou’s subordinate and the instance MVP, Stefan J.E. Wolf, protecting Sky Fortress. Are you up for the challenge?
Requisites
- Base level 145 or higher
- Must be in a party
- If soloing, you have to be the party leader
- Quest Prerequisites:
- Completing the Room of Consciousness part of the Royal Banquest Main Questline
- Not in cooldown (Cooldown: 3 days)
- You can bypass this cooldown if you buy Sky Fortress Tickets (1 hour or 3 hours) from the Cash Shop, which allow you to enter the Instance for an unlimited number of times for 1 hour or 3 hours (depending on the Ticket bought).
Instance Proper
- Go to the Invaded Prontera map.
- As you will recall in the Royal Banquet Main Questline, to enter the Invaded Prontera map, you have to:
- Go to the Royal Memory (via Chamberlain Bell then Court Mage Nillem or through Overwatcher Terketh)
- Once inside the Royal Memory, talk to Court Mage Nillem, to generate a dimensional warper to Old Memoirs of the Royal Family. Talk to the generated Dimensional Warp.
- Once in the the Old Memoirs, walk to the left hallway of the map until you see a warp to Invaded Prontera.
- As you will recall in the Royal Banquet Main Questline, to enter the Invaded Prontera map, you have to:
- Once in the Invaded Prontera map, find Scientist Doyeon in the south-east part of the map /navi prt_q 247/78
- When you see Scientist Doyeon, he will ask you to go into the Sky Fortress that has been invading Prontera, discover the source of the invasion, and restore peace to Prontera.
- If you accept Doyeon’s request, a queue window for Instance will appear.
- After queueing, you can enter Memorial Dungeon Sky Fortress Invasion via the Fortress Entry Warp Portal.
- Note: If you have a Sky Fortress Ticket from Cash Shop, apart from entering the Instance through Scientist Deoyeon in Invaded Prontera, you can also enter the Instance through the Scientist in the Dimensional Gap.
Phase 1 – Sky Fortress Interior
- Upon entering the Instance, you will meet a copy of Stefan.J.E. Wolf at the Sky Fortress Interior.
- During the battle, Stefan.J.E. Wolf will run away and summon a horde of zombies (Immortal Zombie Soldiers and one Sky Fortress Key Keeper) from the Sky Fortress.
- After defeating all the monsters, and after Stefan’s short speech, a warp will be generated on the stairs going to the upper level.
Phase 2 – Going Up Sky Fortress
- As you go up the stairs, you will encounter waves of Immortal Zombie Soldiers, Immortal Fortress Legions, Sky Fortress Key Keepers, Immortal Zombie Assault, and Immortal Cursed Zombies.

- Important: While you can kill these monsters to obtain Vicious Mind Weapons (save for Sky Fortress Key Keeper), you can also ignore these monsters and race towards the Top Floor instead.
- While going up the stairs to the Top Floor, you will also notice Deactivated Warp Portals along the walls of the Tower.
- To activate and enter the Secret Rooms behind these warp portals, you need Sky Fortress Keys, which are only obtainable by killing the Sky Fortress Key Keeper mob.
- There are three possible Secret Rooms:
- The Treasure Chest Room
- The Immortal Cursed Knight Room
- The Immortal Wind Ghost Room
- Once you enter the Chamber of Secrets, you will be met with waves of Immortal Nightmare/Angry/Death Shadows.

- At the end of the room you can either unearth a Treasure Chest or face either of the two mini-bosses: Immortal Cursed Knight and Immortal Wind Ghost.
- For Immortal Cursed Knight, the skill that you should watch out for is Ignition Break. It can one shot squishy classes, but it has a long cast time. Best to move away from melee range.
- For Immortal Wind Ghost, it casts Killing Cloud, which deals some damage over time. Move away from the Killing Cloud range as soon as you can.
- Once you get the random item from the Treasure Chest or defeat the Mini-Boss, go back to the entrance of the Secret Room to proceed with going up the Tower.

Phase 3 – Sky Fortress Top Floor
- Once you enter the last warp of the Stairs, you will reach the Top Floor of the Sky Fortress. Once you go north of the small map, you will trigger a chat with and spawn the MVP Stefan.J.E. Wolf. Other Instance mobs will also appear in the map. You have to defeat the MVP to finish the Instance.

- Tips to killing Stefan:
- Stefan is Undead/Undead. Try to use weapons with options that increase damage against undead and try to use Holy or Fire elements.
- Stefan himself is not that big of a threat. He casts Fire Walk, Electric Walk, and Hallucination Walk. The real killers of this Instance are the “earthquakes” that appear in waves while killing Stefan.
- These “earthquakes” are not the normal earthquakes of other MVPs but a map mechanic unique for this instance that automatically kills players who get hit by them.
- Common earthquake reducing and nullifying gear and skills (like the Warlocks’ White Imprison Skill) will not work here.
- The best way to avoid these map mechanic “earthquakes” is to go outside their AoE.
- You can predict their AoE by watching for purple ripples on the map’s floor. The mini “earthquakes” will trigger shortly in the AoE where the purple ripples appeared.
- Thus, to avoid death, once you see purple ripples on the floor, immediate rush towards empty floor tiles, which you foresee/calculate the purple ripples did not hit.
- Tip: Guyak will be handy here.
- To lower your chances of being in the AoE of the map mechanic earthquakes, it can be helpful to lure and kill Stefan.J.E. Wolf in a corner:
- Once you defeat Stefan.J.E. Wolf, talk to the portal in the middle of the map. This will bring you back to Scientiest Doyeon. Remember to talk to him to trigger the instance cooldown.
