Jakk’s Story of Jakk and Jakk
Jakk has suddenly disappeared during the Halloween event at Niflheim. No matter how hard we look around, we can’t find Jakk… Maybe, did Jakk reached the land of the living???

As you walk through the village (Prontera, Morocc, Payon), you can hear whispers from somewhere. When you listen to the whispers, your vision fades away…
When you wake up, you arrived in Niflheim, the city of the dead.
The ghost that looks familiar to the ghosts you’ve seen in the village says it’s looking for Jakk.
Speak to Hororong and Hururong.
Hururong asks to find Jakk somewhere in Midgard, the land of the living.
To complete the quest, defeat 10 Jakks wandering around in the field, and bring back 20 fully dried white stem and 10 pumpkin decoration.
TIP: Get an extra dried white stem, the next quest will need it.

Jakk and Jakk’s Cat
The Niflheim’s Halloween Festival is in full swing. Jakk asks for help as he seeks to find his cat. He asks you to find the cat instead of him. Where did the cat go?
If you talk to Jakk, who is right next to you after completing “Jakk’s story of Jakk and Jakk”, Jakk will ask you to get him 1 dry white stem. Return to him and, he will ask you to find his cat.
He will mention that Harorong might know where the cat went. Harorong is the Lude just above the minstrel in the picture.
- Go find Nibble /navi niflheim 366/247 after speaking to Harurong and then return to Harurong.
- Harurong will send you to Shivering Jakk in nif_fild02
- Return to Jakk /navi niflheim 172/243. Jakk will tell you that the meow seems to have gone to Midgard through the stems of Yggdrasil.
- Visit Umbala and speak to the Shivering Researcher /navi umbala 114/285. He will tell you that “someone” asked him where to get “fresh fish“, and he answered with Morocc.
- Go to Morocc and find Shivering Merchant /navi morocc 154/248. The merchant also said something about fresh fish and points you to Alberta.
- In Alberta, find the Shivering Kitty-Pawed Merchant /navi alberta 45/239. Ask the merchant if he saw a cat and describe the cat’s love for fish. The merchant then points you toward the port because that’s where cats hang out to get fresh-caught fish.
- You find the cat near the port /navi alberta 197/50. Talk to the cat, and then speak towards the sand pile next to it. You find a small pile of bones. **Is this the cat’s grave?**
Return to Jakk in Niflheim and hand him the bones to receive rewards.

Jakk managed to get the cat back, but the cat left Jakk and never returned.
Jakk misses the cat! Why don’t you meet and hear the story from the cat?
If you talk to Jakk after completing the 2 previous quests, he will request that you speak to his cat because his cat started to act strangely since he got back.
Visit the cat in /navi niflheim 146/199
When you meet the cat, it’s obvious that something is wrong…
The cat says that after a long journey, it grew aware and couldn’t remain with Jakk any longer.
Return back to Jakk, Horongs talk to you about the story that there are newborn Scatletons in the Valley of Gyoll and that Kitty is there.
- Go to /navi nif_fild02 135/230. Speak to the mud-mound grave near the tree. The Scatleton buried in there will ask you 5x Black Fur.
Black fur is dropped by monsters found nif_fild02, the field where you are at. - After helping the Scatleton, go back to Jakk and talk to him, however, he tells you that he doesn’t want another except for his original one and that you should speak to his kitty /navi niflheim 145/198.
The kitty then tells you that it can no longer go back to Jakk because of his new appearance. Kitty tells you to return to Jakk. - Jakk is sad that his Kitty will no longer be with him.
Jakk asks you if you’re interested in looking after the new Scatletons born in the Valley of Gyoll, and that you can bind them with 10 Dry white stems.
TIP: Aside from the event monster Jakk found in fields, monsters in nif_fild02 also drops dry white stems. - After collecting the 10 stems and speak to the mud-mound grave near the tree /navi nif_fild02 135/230 and speak to it.
After binding the dead kitty’s bones with the stems, it will also ask you to find out what it can eat.
You figure “fresh fish” is the food it can eat. - Collect 10 fresh fish or buy from NPCs found in Comodo or Amatsu
Return to the grave in nif_fild02 and give it the fishes you collected. The Scatletone loves it. - The Scatleton will then ask you to collect 20 dry white stems.
Return to Scatleton once you collected the stems. It rewards you and gives you rewards for helping. The Scatleton tells you that it will go back to where it was born. - Speak to Teacher Scattleton in /navi niflheim 146/199 and share your encounter with the scatleton in nif_fild02. It then tells you that it will go on an adventure and that you have to tell Jakk that it left and not wait for it to return.
- Return to Jakk to receive the rewards.
EXTRA: If you speak again to Jakk, he will ask you to get him 10 Black Fur. Return to Jakk to receive another set of rewards.

Jakk the Giant Pumpkin
Finally! Thanks to Jakk’s hard work! The preparations for the Halloween event are almost complete. Follow Hurarong’s directions and complete the ‘Catch the Jakk game to get rewards.
If you talk to Hurarong /navi niflheim 193/235 after completing the previous quest, Hurarong will ask you to get red hot wood to finish off the preparation for the festival.
Kill 10 Elder willows.
NOTE: Seems like this is just a regular kill quest.
After completing the previous task, speak to Hurarong. He will tell you to speak to the Festival guide.
Take Halloween coins and talk with the Festival Guide to enter the Halloween Festival.
The festival is a pretty straight-forward instance.
Follow Hurarong’s directions and complete the “Catch the Jakk game”.
You can do Catch the Jakk game once per day.
TIP: You can reset the instance by giving Hurarong 1 nyangvine fruit.
After eliminating the huge Jakk, exit the instance by talking to the deviruchi and then speak to Hurarong for the rewards.
