Introduction

This instance dungeon features the all-powerful and cost-efficient
Temporal Boots that can be crafted using farmable materials
namely Coagulated Spell and Temporal Crystal.

Instance Entry




Go to glast_01 204/273 and look for Hugin. The party leader should ask him to Generate a Dimensional Gap. Upon creation, enter the instance by talking to Hugin as well.

Instance Proper

1st Phase



Talk to Varmundt to trigger the start of the instance.
Walk towards north and look for Heinrich. Talk to him to trigger a cutscene. While their dialogue is ongoing, you can choose to move away from the center since several Corrupted Abysmal Knight  and Suffering Khalitzburg will be summoned there. If you are confident enough to deal with them, you may eliminate them but regardless of your choice, Heinrich will eliminate them after a few seconds.



Move towards the left side and wait for a portal to appear

2nd Phase



Eliminate as many enemies as possible until the system announces to look for survivors.




Talk to Altar Boy Domun to trigger the next phase.




The east portal should open upon talking to the survivor.

3rd Phase: Maggots



Eliminate as many enemies as possible until the system announces to look for survivors.
Warning: Be careful of the Decomposed body since it will summon multiple Maggots that can kill even well-equipped characters. However, these Maggots can drop Coagulated Spell so you can still consider triggering them if you are confident and comfortable enough to deal with them.



Talk to Holgren the Destroyer to trigger the next portal.




Enter the portal to proceed.

4th Phase: Raydrics

Eliminate as many enemies as possible. The system will notify you to move towards the central north part of the map.

Warning: Corrupted Palace Guard uses Magnum Break so be mindful about wearing Undead Element/Evil Druid Armor. Also, the knockback effect may cause your attacks to not connect consistently. Also Wandering Archers can use Arrow Repel, Shadow Attack and Double Strafe; they also hit like a truck. Make sure not to dive against a pack of monsters without gauging your ability to receive damage.

Suggestions: Wearing any shadow property armor (can be carded with Bathory Card) is a decent way to reduce the damage taken from Shadow Attacks. Also, Fire damage from Magnum Break will not deal bonus damage against Shadow Armor so it will be a safer choice in terms of armor element instead of an Undead Armor.

Also, if you have access to anti-knockback equipment such as Antonio’s Coat [1] , Etran’s Undershirt [1], RSX-0806 Card , or Strong Shield [1]. These can be considered as luxuries since you can still deal with those archers without knockback immunity.

This will be the 1st boss fight against Corrupted Soul. The boss is immobile but has several strong damaging skills such as Sonic Blow, Hell’s Judgement and Dark Soul Strike. You may wear an Evil Druid Carded armor to make yourself immune against Stone Curse and Dark Soul Strike. Also, Corrupted Soul is the only Demon race monster in this instance.

Reminder: Party members should remain alive to complete the kill count. Talk to Varmundt after killing Corrupted Soul to receive your rewards in the form of Temporal Crystal and Coagulated Spell. If ever you forgot to talk to him, then finished the instance completely, a bug might occur, and you might lose access to the treasure room that gives a guaranteed 7 pieces of Coagulated Spell plus several expensive items that can be sold to the NPC with overcharge.

A portal will appear north of Corrupted Soul’s spawn point, enter that and proceed to the 2nd Floor.

5th Phase: Commanders

Walk north and pass through the NPC to trigger their dialogue. Wait for a while until 2 portals are activated. The red dots represent the east and west portals. You may enter any portal of the portals. Once you are inside, eliminate the mobs until a notification “Evil Forces are appearing in this area”. The green dots represent the possible spawn area for  1st Commander of Destruction while the blue ones represent the possible spawn points of  2nd Commander of Destruction. Upon eliminating them, return to the central pathway and walk north towards the final portal.
Warning: Most of the mobs on the 2nd floor are boss type monsters, so you won’t be able to utilize your hiding skills as much. Also, these monsters deal ridiculous amounts of fire damage through Magnum Break and Meteor Storm.

Suggestions: If available, use a Resist Fire potion to reduce fire damage taken. If you still can’t tank the damage, you may use a fire armor like ( Lucius’s Fierce Armor of Volcano/ Excelion Suit enchanted with Fire Property Reactor Blueprint/ any armor with Pasana Card). If you are still taking heavy fire damage, you may use an Excelion Wing enchanted with triple Fire Resistance Blueprint.

6th Phase: Final Boss

On your way to Himelmez, be careful of the Decompose bodies lying around as a horde of maggots can be summoned if you walk carelessly. Stay away from them or eliminate all maggots summoned maggots first before triggering the final boss. Walk north and move closely to Himelmez to trigger a dialogue. From there, wait for Amdarais to be summoned.
Amdarais is an undead boss monster that has several threatening skills such as Magnum Break, Critical Slash, and Dark Cross. Prepare a few Panacea or Green Potion since Amdarais can cause several status ailments such as Blind, Chaos, and Silence through Dragon Fear and Dark Cross. You may also endow fire or holy to improve your damage dealt.

At the start of the fight, you may use a combination of Resist Fire and fire armor to address the damage from Magnum Break. Make sure to keep your HP fairly healthy as you might get surprised with a combo of Magnum Break + Critical Slash. For squishy classes, that’s enough to bring you from 100 to 0.

The goal is to bring his HP down to 50% since he will start spamming Dark Cross from that point. Switch to your Shadow Armor to be immune from it. Take note that despite being immune to the damage of Dark Cross, you are not immune to Blind status. Remove the blind status using Green Potion or Panacea.

Warning: If your bout against Amdarais lasted for quite some time, he will summon several random mobs around his spawn point. If you are not confident about your damage output, drag him down the stairs to keep your party safe from the random spawn. Also keep in mind that the Decomposed bodies do respawn so remember the spots where they originally are. Take note that only those who are alive can receive the Amdarais kill count.

Once you killed Amdarais, talk to Hugin to receive your rewards. From here, you may decide to farm the Maggots from Decomposed bodies since they have a chance of dropping Coagulated Spells and the round shells that they drop are necessary materials for Rune Knight’s Hagalas Rune Stone. You can also choose to access the Treasure Room or leave the instance immediately.

Treasure Room

The pink dot represents the fountain that you have to click to access the treasure room. Move south and click on the glass displays and collect the loots. Keep the Coagulated Spells and sell all miscellaneous loots and equipment obtained from the treasure room to the NPC with overcharge. The only notable equipment from there is the Silversmith Bracelet [1] that allows the wearer to use level 5 Spell Breaker.
