Free Transcending/Rebirthing

Don’t have money to Transcend? Too lazy to farm zeny? Well, my friend, you’re in the right place! In this guide, you will learn how to Transcend for free!

The Quest

Location: yuno 90/318

Head to Yuno Sage’s castle. You can go there by Kafra teleportation services. Simply warp to Geffen, use Kafra TP to Aldebaran, and Kafra TP again to Yuno.

Once in front of the Sage’s castle, enter the portal.

Inside the building, Find & talk to Metheus Sylphe to start the transcending quest.

• Choose “Can’t I just take a look?”
• On the next dialogue, pick I will find it.
• Another dialogue will show up, pick “Aren’t you worried about the escaped book?”

Metheus will then ask you to find the Escaped Book.

Finding the Escaped Book

You can find the escaped book in the following locations:

• yuno_fild04
• yuno_fild03
• yuno_fild06
• Any Yuno field.

TIP

Before heading back, make sure your weight is below 500. This is a required for transcending.

Once you found the book, go back and talk to Metheus Sylphe. Say that you found the book.

After talking to Metheus, continue walking up until you find the Book of Ymir. Talk to it and pick “Go with the flow“.

You will then be teleported to Valhalla.

Walk north until you find the portal.

Note: The NPCs you see in this hall are the Transcended job changers. You will have to go back here once you’re a job level 50 High 1st job class to change job.

After you entered the portal, you will see Valkyrie. Simply talk to her to rebirth.
