Episode 16.1 brings about the main story quest entitled, “Banquet of Heroes” which takes place in Prontera Castle. The quest revolves around meeting the heroes of Rune Midgard among 7 royal families in the Royal Banquet, and who among them will be crowned as the new king. This comprehensive guide will cover the main story and side quests in the hopes to aid players into finishing them. Accomplishing these will not only reward players with Base/Job EXP and Honor Tokens (which are used to exchange for various equipment) but will also unlock repeatable instances and daily quests to help farm for said Honor Tokens.
Just a reminder: Clicking on the navigation codes (which start with /navi) throughout this guide will copy the command which you may then enter via in-game chat.
MAIN QUEST
Part 1: Learning About the Families

1. Locate and talk to the Royal Errand Boy at /navi prontera 121/72 (he can be seen in other major cities and towns such as Geffen and Juno as well). He will invite you to the Royal Banquet taking place in Prontera Castle.
Once you accept his offer, he will give you a Banquet Invitation and an option to be warped directly outside the castle.
2. You will be met by Chamberlain Bell upon entering Prontera Castle. Talk to him and he will direct you from the red-carpet hallway to your private room /navi prt_cas_q 130/8 at the castle’s west wing.
Talk to Bell inside your room, and he will tell you more about the upcoming ritual to replace the previous king who had died.
3. He will then ask you to visit the families in the other rooms, and meet the heroes to be candidates for the ritual. Note that you do not need to follow a specific order in talking to the families, but to make it easier for walking, it is advised to follow the order in this guide – starting with the west wing, and then the east wing after.
3A. Heine Family: Enter the Heine Family Room /navi prt_cas_q 130/32 just north of your private room. Approach the table and wait for the conversation to end. Talk to Kronecker G. Heine. It is revealed that Peter will be the candidate for the Heine family.
Once leaving the room and proceeding north, a conversation between Nyhill and Skia will commence. Wait for the conversation to end before proceeding to the next room.
3B. Nerius Family: Enter the Nerius Family Room /navi prt_cas_q 130/56 and talk to Spica Nerius. She mentions that the family, predominantly led by women, is not interested in the throne, and that their candidate Erich is already in the banquet hall.
3C. Walther Family: Enter the Walther Family Room /navi prt_cas_q 130/80 and talk to Ian Walther who mentions an unfortunate incident involving their candidate, Isenarm, Isenhonor’s brother.
After the first conversation, talk to Ian again and a Man from the Richard will appear behind him. They explain how the Walther family has been excluded from the Royal Assembly. Talk to Isenhonor Walther and he mentions about the Guardian Knights and his manor in the south of Alberta. At this point, the Walther sidequest is now available.
3D. Wigner Family: Walk back to the red-carpet hallway and enter the east portal.
Passing through some NPCs standing outside a portal, enter the Wigner Family Room /navi prt_cas_q 153/119 and talk to Levuiere Wigner, who then introduces their family’s candidate, Jurgen Wigner. He will leave you momentarily and appear further inside the room.
Talk to Jurgen and he will introduce his siblings, whom their parents would have preferred as candidates.. At this point, the Wigner sidequest is now available.
3E. Richard Family: Enter the Richard Family Room /navi prt_cas_q 153/143 and talk to the Butler for the Richards. He directs you to Po Richard who has been waiting inside the room.
Converse with Po who talks about their family trains and produces excellent warriors. Talking to Po a second time and choosing “I’ll try” will unlock the Warrior Discipline daily quest.
3F. Geoborg Family: Enter the Geoborg Family Room /navi prt_cas_q 153/167 and you will be stopped by Bodyguard Martin. Queen Catherine D. Geoborg will however let you pass afterwards.
Speak with her and she mentions that they are descendants of Tristan I, and that Ernst Geoborg was their family’s candidate. At this point, the Geoborg sidequest is now available.
3G. Roegenburg Family: Enter the Roegenburg Family Room /navi prt_cas_q 153/191 and talk to Maximilian Roegenburg. It is revealed that Helmut is their family’s candidate. Afterwards, speak to Wolf Roegenburg who later introduces you to Agnes and Myer. At this point, the Roegenburg sidequest is now available.
4. Walk back to your private room at /navi prt_cas 152/163 in the west wing. Speak with Chamberlain Bell, and be rewarded with 10 Honor Tokens and 300,000 Base and Job EXP.
5. Proceed to the Banquet Hall /navi prt_cas 216/183 by leaving your private room. On your way to the middle of the hallway, you will overhear a conversation between two mysterious NPCs.
Proceed by walking towards the middle, and then North from the red-carpeted hallway (Royal Chef might trigger the start of “Kitchen: Mistaken Chef” sidequest and stop you momentarily from entering the Banquet Hall; you may choose to skip this and come back to it later).
6. After entering the Banquet Hall, make your way to /navi prt_cas 104/240 where you meet up and converse with Skia, Spica, Nyhill and Violeta.
The Royal Chamberlain offers some light champagne which Nyhill drinks. He becomes mysteriously drunk and returns to his room.
7. Following Nyhill back to his room, you see the same mysterious NPCs appear in the hall just outside. They talk about drugging Nyhill with the champagne which has been served to him, and then disappear as Skia Nerius comes into the scene.
Proceed inside Nyhill’s room until he and Skia appear. Talk to them and listen to their conversation.
8. Return to your private room at /navi prt_cas 152/163 and talk to Chamberlain Bell. He mentions the Court Magician Nillem, who then appears and asks you to go to the Room of Consciousness in the Royal Memory map.
9. Once in the Royal Memory map, make your way North and talk to Mage Nillem at /navi prt_lib 90/84. Create a solo party before talking to him again to create the instance. Once the instance has been generated, talk to the Room of Consciousness teleporter to enter.
Part 2: Ritual of Blessing Instance
1. Talk with the two NPCs present as you enter the instance, and then proceed North afterwards.
2. Walk toward the empty spot next to Po Richard and behind Ernst Geoborg (106/77) to initiate the ceremony.
3. After a while, an intruder arrives and attacks Peter.He then demands for the Heart of Ymir, before three other Suspicious Intruders appear (HP: 10000). Proceed to kill them. Nyhill (left side of the map) will support you with heals and Kyrie Eleison if you walk near him.
4. After the battle, talk to Kronecker Heine at the altar. He mentions that the Tera Gloria crown has gone missing. He then sends back the families away. Head back south and exit the instance.
Part 3: After the Ritual

Quest Reward: Ritual Room Repeatable Quest (Room of Consciousness), Access to Destroyed Prontera Invasion Map Repeatable Quest
1. Talk to Ian Walther once you have spawned outside of the instance. The families suspect you to be involved with the incident, but Nyhill intervenes and confesses he had told someone about the ritual while he was drunk.
2. Once the families disappear, talk to Mage Nillem. He instructs you to take a look at the material the archduke has seen previously.
3. Talk to Lindt the Librarian just southwest from Nillem’s position /navi prt_lib 76/80.
4. Talk to Mage Nillem once again who senses some magical distortion, similar to the Crack of Dimension, and instructs you to leave by talking to the Guardian Knight at /navi prt_lib 56/61.
The knight will transport you into the prison, where you talk to Overwatcher Terketh to be sent out.
5. Return back to your private room /navi prt_cas 152/163 and talk to Chamberlain Bell, with a message which has been left for you. He also mentions that the Nerius family also wishes to speak with you.
6. Proceed to the Nerius Family Room /navi prt_cas_q 130/56 and talk to Spica Nerius (who is Skia in disguise, as revealed by Nyhill. Note that you can only talk to her if she is the only NPC present (will need to wait or make the others disappear).
7. End of Episode 16.1: Enter the Heine Family Room /navi prt_cas_q 130/32 just south of the current room, and talk to Kronecker G. Heine. He will instruct you to work with Mage Nillem, and rewards the player with 20 Honor Tokens as well as 400,000 Base and Job EXP. At this point, you will gain access to the “Request from Chief Guard” repeatable quest in Destroyed Prontera.
THE TRUTH
Complete the Room of Consciousness instance to proceed.
- After completing the instance, go outside and speak to Nillem. Leave the area through the South-West portal; it will take you to Invaded Prontera. Once inside Invaded Prontera, walk south until you see Nillem. /navi prt_q 157/334]
Note: The Sky Fortress entrance can be found in the Southeast and should be marked on your mini-map. - Talk to Nillem until the option “Let’s get out of here” appears, and choose it.
- You will be warped to the ‘Memories of the Royal Family’ room. Simply walk up until you find Kronecker next to the librarian’s desk. /navi prt_lib 87/81
- Speak to him, and he will reward you with 30 Honor Tokens and some experience.
Note: This also unlocks the daily quest for the Room of Consciousness.
SIDE QUEST
SQ 1: Geoborg’s Quest

1. Talk to Bodyguard Jared at /navi prt_cas_q 85/127 in the Geoborg Family Room.
2. Locate and speak to Scarlet Jaha at /navi prt_cas 73/244 in the banquet hall, at the bottom of the left side stairs.
3. Talk to Lidion Geoborg at /navi prt_cas 82/240. It is revealed that he knows little about the on-goings of the family and Prince Ernst stepping down.
4. Converse with Scarlet Jaha again who instructs you to find Prince Ernst.
5. Proceed to the following spots in the correct order:
5A. One cell north of Vincente /navi prt_cas 77/258
5B. Between Lin and Ekinasia, and tea-drinking Banquet Hall Guest /navi prt_cas 87/235
5C. One cell south and between Spica and Crux /navi prt_cas 109/240
5D. One cell south, then east of Sophia by the Isaac Wigner group /navi prt_cas 108/221
5E. Near Queen Catherine Wigner on the red carpet /navi prt_cas 90/221
5F. South-west corner of the hall near the guests from Amatsu /navi prt_cas 78/220
5G. Three cells east, and two south of the Banquet Hall Guest wearing a green jacket and at the edge of the carpet /navi prt_cas 90/229
6. After walking to all the spots correctly, return and speak to Scarlet Jaha. She rewards you with 10 Honor Tokens, as well as 700,000 Base and Job EXP.
SQ 2: Walther’s Quest (link to Sara’s Memory)

1. Enter the Walther Family Room /navi prt_cas_q 130/80 in the west wing.
2. Talk to Isenhonor /navi prt_cas_q 14/183 who asks you to visit his Alberta manor and find his Guardian Knight.
3. Make your way to southwest Alberta (near the Merchant Guild) and speak to the Butler for the Walthers at /navi alberta 48/30. He mentions that the knight is near the docks.
4. Find and speak to Guardian Knight at /navi alberta 187/147 who then asks you to visit Bigfoot in Royal Prontera Prison.
5. Visit Bigfoot at /navi prt_pri00 55/119 in the Royal Prontera Prison. He is located in the second jail cell.
He will ask for 1 Green Salad and 3 Grilled Buns. After delivering the food to him, he will tell about a Walther family member he spotted in Veins and his skill in pickpocketing.
6. Find K (also known as Kain Walther Walker) over at /navi veins 156/160. He will reveal more information about Isenarm’s death. He will then give you a Seal Stamped Letter.
7. Return to the Walther Family Room and deliver the letter to Isenhonor, who will reward you with 10 Honor Tokens, 1,000,000 Base EXP and 500,000 Job EXP.
SQ 3: Rougenbourg’s Quest (Wolf and Isaac’s Dealings)

1. Speak with Wolf Roegenburg at /navi prt_cas_q 96/186 who asks for a favor to collect an item from Isaac Wigner.
2. Proceed to the Wigner Family Room at /navi prt_cas_q 153/119.
3. Talk to Isaac Wigner /navi prt_cas_q 93/7. He tells you that Wolf must really trust you, and hands you the Sample of New Business Item to be given to Wolf. He also mentions a rumor spread around Prontera.
4. Return to Wolf Roegenburg and give him the business item. He tells you that the box is password protected (PW: 1618).
5. After unlocking the box, you pass the message about the rumors spread in Prontera. You are tasked to investigate by asking children in Prontera.
6. Talk to the 3 Kiddos at the southeast area of Prontera /navi prontera 267/69. They want you to hunt 33 Majoruros, give them 12 Soft Silk and borrow a book from the royal library as compensation for telling the story.
7. The Royal Library can be accessed through the portal in the southeast corner of the Banquet Hall /navi prt_cas 127/217.
Speak with the Uptight Librarian /navi prt_cas 343/66 by the stairs. She gives you the Rune-Midgard History Book after she asks for your library card, but realizing you are the Adventurer asks you questions about the banquet instead.
7A. Kind of banquet: In memory of defeating Morocc

7C. Didn’t attend: Geoborg and Walther
7D. Cursed family: Geoborg
8. Return to the Kiddos who tell you the rumor about the Roegenburg family: A war will break out if Helmut Roegenburg becomes a king. He will invade the country where his parents were killed and try to unify the continent. The second son is helping fund the war.
9. Return and speak to Wolf Roegenburg in the Roegenburg Family Room. You tell a softer version of the story to the family. It is revealed that the rumor is true, and that Myer Roegenburg has spread it himself. You are then given the Top Secret Document by Wolf, and are instructed to give it to Isaac.
10. Talk to Isaac in the Wigners Family Room. He reads the document aloud and respects Wolf’s decision of shifting his business away from war.
11. Return to Wolf who decides to pursue his business. Maximilian Roegenburg will then tell the true story about the parents of the four children with mysterious deaths. Afterwards, he instructs you to bring back Helmut who is near the border of Schwaltzvalt and gives you the Prontera Badge.
12. Locate Helmut Roegenburg over at /navi yuno_fild01 242/175 and his soldiers located one map north of Aldebaran. He mentions that he has given up the unification war and, instead, is working on defending the people. He then asks you to tell Wolf he is passing his heirship to him.
13. Return and relay Helmut’s message to Maximilian. Wolf then wants you to deliver a message to Myer.
14. Proceed back and ask the Kiddos in Prontera where you can find Myer, who then suddenly appears. You tell him the message.
15. Talk to Maximilian and tell him that Myer will visit after the banquet. Wolf will then reward you with 10 Honor Tokens, as well as 1,000,000 Base EXP and 500,000 Job EXP. At this point, the Jewel and Cloth sidequest is now available.
SQ 4: Jewel and Cloth

3. Return to Agnes after collecting the items and be rewarded with 4 Honor Tokens, as well as 200,00 Base and Job EXP. At this point, you will gain access to the daily quest, “The Dress.”
SQ 5: Wigner’s Quest (The Maid and the Jewelry Box)

1. Enter the Wigner Family Room /navi prt_cas_q 153/119 and talk to Levuiere Wigner. You learn about his and Catherine’s relationship with their children.
2. Talk to Katrin Wigner at /navi prt_cas_q 96/7 and she says she has lost a jewelry box of some sort, which might have been taken by the maid.
3. Proceed to the Kitchen at /navi prt_cas 41/272 (enter the north portal from the red-carpet hallway, walk to north-west of Banquet Hall, and then west of the stairs).
4. Confront the Maid at /navi prt_cas 322/216. She becomes defensive, but tries to remember if someone else was in the room if you help her with cleaning. You are given Poring Loofah to clean the molds on walls, grease and the floor.
5. Walk to the north-east corner and click on the Dark and Damp Wall at /navi prt_cas 336/212 (to the right of the bread basket). The sponge will come alive, and you will need 1 Holy Water and 1 Mould Powder to clean it.
6. After cleaning the mold, walk down towards the cooking pots at /navi prt_cas 336/197. A second sponge will come alive. Use 1 Orange and 1 Alcohol to scrub the Sticky Wall on the top of the cooking pot (requires repeated scrubbing but no additional items).
7. Walk in front of the fireplace /navi prt_cas 309/214 to the left of the Maid. Use 1 Lemon and 1 Fine Sand on the last sponge, and then use it on the Dirty Floor on the left corner of the fireplace (underneath the barrel) until it is cleaned.
8. Return to the Maid who then says the Furniture Delivery Man is responsible for taking the jewelry box.
9. Make your way to the south-west corner of Prontera and locate the Furniture Delivery Man at /navi prontera 68/68 who becomes defensive for you suspecting him. He asks for 3 Beef Heads because he is hungry. After handing him the items, he mentions that he was checked by the Guard Gate upon exiting the castle.
10. Return to the Wigner Family Room at /navi prt_cas_q 153/119 and speak to Jurgen Wigner /navi prt_cas_q 95/9. Tell him the way other people have perceived Katrin, who then flips out at him for his looks. It is then revealed that Isaac has actually taken the box. Katrin leaves the group, to which Isaac and Jurgen say that she will like 1 Witherless Rose and 10 Sea Stones (dropped by Medusa, and automatically added into your inventory upon defeating one).
11. Collect and bring the items back to them, which they then give to their sister. You will be rewarded with 10 Honor Tokens, as well as 1,000,000 Base EXP and 500,000 Job EXP. At this point, “Today I Feel” daily quest is now available.
SQ 6: Kitchen (Mistaken Chef)

1. Talk to the Royal Chef at /navi prt_cas 213/176 just outside the Banquet Hall main entrance. He asks you to go to the kitchen after mistaking you for a helper.
2. From the Banquet Hall, enter the Kitchen at /navi prt_cas 41/272.
3. Speak with the Royal Head Chef over at /navi prt_cas 308/200. She will ask you to get some sauce from the Royal Sauce Master.
4. Make your way to the Royal Sauce Master at /navi prt_cas 318/211 who asks for your help to make sauce with four (4) ingredients.
When making the sauce, you must speak with him after grabbing each ingredient to get the next one.

5. Return to the Royal Sauce Master once the sauce is completed.
6. Take the sauce to the Royal Head Chef and prepare the Griffon Barbecue.
7. Walk to the empty space /navi prt_cas 314/199 between the Chefs. Once the Griffon Barbecue is completed, you are to serve it in the dining room.
8. Head to the Dining Room over at /navi prt_cas 57/217, and look for Grilled Griffon located at /navi prt_cas 361/124 on the bottom-left corner table.
9. Speak to Tamarin /navi prt_cas 361/142 after you have put down the dish. He then asks you to look for his friend Dyu.
10. Find and speak to Deu Rianne at /navi prt_cas 110/235 at the right side of the banquet hall, and then speak to Magi Steen beside him.
11. You are then told to find and talk to Mark Ishar at /navi prt_cas 82/267 upstairs in the left-side hall. Speak to him, and then to Alice Ishar next to him.
12. Return back to Tamarin at /navi prt_cas 361/142 in the Dining Room who asks for your help to gather 15 Luxurious Dishes (you will need to attack/hit Plates which give you Luxurious Dish at 25% drop rate; these are added automatically into your inventory).
13. Head back to the Kitchen after collecting the dishes, and speak to the Dishwasher at /navi prt_cas 302/204. He is grateful to you and tells you to speak with the Royal Head Chef.
14. Talk to the Royal Head Chef who apologizes for mistaking you for someone else. She rewards you with 10 Honor Tokens, as well as 700,000 Base and Job EXP. At this point, the Kitchen-related daily quests (Griffin Barbecue, Unexpected Sauce and Washing 15 Dishes) are now available.
SQ 7: Prontera Underground Prison

1. Talk to Ellond at the Underground Prontera Prison Entrance at /navi prt_pri00 51/117 and give him his autograph.
2. Talk to him until you can access the Underground Prontera Prison.
3. Talk with the prisoners consisting of Mastering and 7 MVPs with locations below:

4. Return to Ellond to report your findings. You will then be rewarded with 2 Honor Tokens, as well as 2,100,000 Base EXP and 5,500,000 Job EXP. At this point, Underground MVP repeatable quests are now available.
