Introduction

Bangungot’s Instance is one of the three instances found in Port Malaya. This instance showcases a different approach to an MVP (Most Valuable Player) fight, incorporating phases and mechanics unique to this dungeon.

Requirements

Base level of 100
Nurse in Port Malaya questline and its prerequisites

How to Start

Begin by talking to Nurse Meanne at /navi ma_dun01 147/10 to reserve and start the instance.

The Instance

Inside the instance, your first task is to clear the room by defeating Bangungot’s Mangkukulam.
Once you’ve eliminated all the Mangkukulams, a portal will spawn on the right side of the room.

In the following room, you’ll encounter Bangungot. Exercise caution, as Bangungot possesses Dispel and Lord of Vermillion.

After defeating Bangungot, it will transition to its second phase. Ensure you eliminate it before it reverts to its first phase with full health.

Tip: Utilize auto-cast skills and multi-hit effects such as Double Attack and Triple Attack to expedite the process. Keep in mind that the Pillar of Spirit has 250 HP.

Warning

Avoid prolonging the battle with Bangungot; excessive delay will trigger teleportation to an identical room containing an invulnerable version of Bangungot. Focus on progression instead of attempting to defeat it.

Following Bangungot’s defeat, all players will revive with 1 health near the portal. Be prepared to swiftly dispatch Bangungot’s Mangkukulam and Bangungot’s Tiyanak.

After defeating the monsters, you will be transported back to the original Bangungot room.

Finally, upon defeating the Pillar of Spirit, make your way to the left portal to exit the instance.

Once outside talk to Nurse Meanne to receive 5 Ancient Grudge and some experience reward.
